I’m not too impressed. </p> <p>Although I’ve played literally a zillion hours of video games - I have to say that I’ve never played Minecraft.  Maybe I just wasn’t impressed with the “blocky” 8-bit look?  Either way - from all of the stats, it seems Minecraft certainly allows players to do something the recently shuttered LEGO Universe oddly didn’t: build. </p> <p>Anyway - I’m probably the last blog on the planet to comment on this deal - while the colors are cool (lime green), the builds themselves are - meh.  The book itself looks moderately interesting - probably more useful for folks just starting out in their building journey - especially for younger children (maybe 8+). </p> <p>IMO, if a LEGO newbie really wants to ramp up quickly, I actually recommend “The Unofficial LEGO Builder’s Guide”.  I was very pleasantly surprised by the book -
