LEGO Minecraft

So, I suppose as an AFOL (Adult Fan of LEGO) I should be excited about seeing LEGO Minecraft… but looking at the “sets” - I’m not too impressed.
Although I’ve played literally a zillion hours of video games - I have to say that I’ve never played Minecraft. Maybe I just wasn’t impressed with the “blocky” 8-bit look? Either way - from all of the stats, it seems Minecraft certainly allows players to do something the recently shuttered LEGO Universe oddly didn’t: build.
Anyway - I’m probably the last blog on the planet to comment on this deal - but still wanted to throw in my $00.02.
BTW: I want to be clear, however, that I really admire Markus Alexej Persson for creating such a popular game - the articles I’ve read on him in GDM (Game Developer Magazine) and other industry rags provided a lot of insight into the challenges and vision of “Notch”. :-)
